Here's my challenge. I decided I want to drive flatbeds. But I don't want to be out for a month at a time. I'm looking for something that's home weekly. I know that comes at the cost of miles in my paycheck, but it's worth it to me. What's really hard is that because of where I live (not cape may, but close enough and still on the shore) getting hired is borderline impossible since I'm too out of the way for everyone. Almost all of our freight into the area is through local companies (that I also live too far from their hiring radius, the Jersey shore SUCKS for trucking) Google hasn't been my friend in finding companies either. I've only been able to find TMC and Maverick, both I need to live about 20 miles west to have any chance of getting hired.

So my question for you guys, does anyone have a decent sized list of companies that will hire with no flatbed experience where I'd be home weekly? Either big carriers or someone that knows someone in south jersey. And company driver, I'm in no position to be leasing or financing a truck right now.

Have not heard anything bad about either
Yourga Trucking, little far, terminal Wheatland, PA
    or
    Trinity Trucking West Middlesex, PA
I know a guy from Yourga, used to work with him til the company we were with was bought out and he went there and I went elsewhere, he likes it and has stayed there for 8-9 years now.. May be worth checking into.
