    Take vitamin D at about 10,000 IU a day and Also, take it with vitamin K. This enhances the effects of the vitamin D. Remember, vitamin D actually turns into a hormone once it’s processed in the body. Also, look into red light therapy. Use it for about 15 to 30 minutes every day when you first wake up. This is a more natural way to elevate your vitamin D levels, and as other beneficial effects.

    As mentioned, it’s a fat soluble vitamin. I run night Linehaul and my numbers are right around 80. All night shift workers should supplement it.

    I was prescribed D2 50000iu, but only 1 a week. I'm thinking he'll take me off them on my next checkup. I'm not really sure why I'm taking them, I get plenty of sunshine. I live in AZ, practicality sunny year 'round.

    Emergency room doctors started taking Vitamin D supplements during the pandemic after noticing that homeless folks (who spend most of their time outside in the sun) weren’t getting sick. Apparently they were getting infected at the same rate as the general public, just not developing symptoms.
