This sounds like it might be referencing a section of the code that is currently suspended. There is a provision of the laws governing us that says that a 34 hour break must contain two separate timeframes from 0100-0500. Thankfully it is not active, because it's stupid as crap.

Yeah they suspended that. I know this isn't a popular opinion but I liked this rule. It took capacity out of play every week which was a good thing for spot market operators. As a company driver it was a nice way to lever your company to give you decent time off to get a restart. Although a restart isn't necessary most drivers view it that way.

Mast offers many different options at least in the area I live in. I even toured the headquarters and the recruiter showed me around. I was able to meet everyone and was able to ask many questions. They offer a 5 on/ 5 off which is nice and the southern route which is more of what I'm interested in and of course the regional. Any questions pm me, I'm not a recruiter and will probably stick with where I'm at for now, but they seem like a more family oriented/open door company which is ultimately what I'm looking for.

    Trying reefer....

Buy 1whole chicken. Let it sit out for a week. Bag it.

Load someplace and immediately park till you have zero time to spare on a 1700 mile run. While parked open container of now rancid chicken. Keep windows down so the local flies can enjoy the chicken too. Make friends with the flies for the next week. Center, tx and broken bow, ok.

On delivery pay some highschool dropout $500 ensuring he understands he has to take at least 6 hours. King sooper Denver.

    Other bits to enjoy....

Sweep out your trailer till its spotless. Then go pay someone to wash it out so you have a receipt for a washout.... brownsville, tx... where they proceeded to load me with drums of mango puree stacked in a dirt lot.

Where do you recommend for trying to go flat bed. I wanted to go to crst Malone but they told me only if I lease. And they don't work with any zero down truck finance such as Quality now.

Check out some of the Maverick threads. Apparently their training is top notch and they have decent equipment. Don't know where you live but they got a pretty big swat on their hiring map for home weekends.

I am out of maverick hiring area. I live in Michigan's upper peninsula. And my dog goes with me every trip. Just may be kinda screwed. Keep swing doors for a while I guess.
