First off, NOBODY NEW CAN GO TO TANKERS COMPANIES THAT PAY THIS MUCH. So all you are doing is helping mislead drivers by posting something completely misleading. Please

Please go ahead and explain how a paycheck for a company that none of the newbies can go to, WITH ALL THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION REMOVED, is somehow going to help new drivers?

I can also post misleading paychecks with all the important information removed. So here, I trump your misleading $2912.67 paycheck with a $3322.82 paycheck.

The last time I spoke to you, it was because you intentionally were giving out information about things you had no personal information about.

Go ahead and explain how misleading drivers intentionally is somehow helping them. The check I posted is a company THEY CAN ACTUALLY GO TO. Your paycheck is from a company that requires experience. How does intentionally misleading the students like that somehow help people? They cant even go there! So please explain how crapping on a well paying starter account and misleading people is somehow helping them.

Go ahead. Please. Explain how intentionally misleading people is helping them.

You are posting paycheck with the gross YTD and pay periods intentionally removed in order to intentionally mislead people. Are you here to actually help, or just to stroke your own pride?

Do you have any advice THAT ACTUALLY APPLIES TO NEW DRIVERS? If so, please let us know.

Thanks, because now I can actually prove he is willingly misleading students.

Trimac says they require one year of experience, that they pay 42cpm empty and 48 cpm loaded. He would have had to drive something like 90 hours to get the miles he is claiming. But he left off the gross year to date, so we have no way to actually average what he makes.

    http://careers.trimac.com/object/CareersProfessionalDriverBirminghamAL.html#.VjUD87erRD8

For comparison, you can clearly see that I made about $1300 a week WITH NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED as Werner, and team pay is around 42-48cpm. All miles.

So you can make the same money, and not have to deal with washouts, hoses, or any of that stuff. As you can see from his paycheck, he even had to spend $70 for washouts. Out of his own pocket, then be reimbursed.

At Werner, they pay directly for washouts. So how good is this company if they cant even do things like that, and he has to intentionally post misleading paychecks with the important information missing?

I'm on the Elite Team first so my pay is substantially higher. Secondly, every Trimac branch pays different so therefore you have no idea what you're talking about. The point of my post was to show that you don't have to team to make money. Now, it's true you can't join the Elite side as a rookie but do a year and you can make what I make. Trimac also hires the occasional rookie so again, you're wrong.

I don't get why you are so defensive. I'm not competing with you, you like Werner....awesome!

No, I post this to show that if you do a year with Schneider Bulk you have a wealth of possibilities. Schneider isn't the only option either, it's just that it's easier to get hired on there. You may get lucky and get straight on with Trimac, Superior, etc. Point is, do a year and move on. Or don't, I'm just trying to help.

Agreed. Look outside the box people!

I'll tell anyone that LTL is another good route for good pay. Tanker is another. I don't need to get in a peeing competition about the wages, Trimac is one of the few that came close to /bettered where I used to work. Dyno Nobel used to pay pretty good too. I heard UPS adverising for drivers needed - there's loads of opportunity, and the bar has been lowered for many.

What irritates me is the flag waving and loyalty. They're all just companies, they employ you, you work there - some are better than others, some suit different people.

Buying into their advertising, sign on bonuses, our equipment is this or that, here's a free t-shirt and a cap - oooooooH !! I get a diamond ring after being a faithful minion for 25 years . . . come on people . . .

Ah. What do I know. I know I'm tired. Good night all. Good luck.
