What's the deal with so many guys griping an complaining about cheap loads an sitting for days with mercer?
I understand rates are down an it's that time of the year for everybody but GEESH!..I've never seen one company take such a beating on a forum the way that mercer does....
Let's hear from the guys who "actually STILL WORK FOR MERCER!"

Okay. So why would you run if you're doing it for free. If I need at least 1.15 cpm to break even why would I take a 1.12?

It seems that alot of drivers no matter which company they run for are complaining about cheap rates. JMO of course.

Is that on one particular load or are you experiencing this across the board?

I think people will find reasons to complain. Rates are lower then normal but not that bad. I have to remove filters to see these loads that people gripe about. As for sitting? I rarely sit a day unless, like now, I'm taking planned time off.

    jacquesi23 Thanks this.

I hear guys complaining about camping out for 3-5 days because they are so far down the list to get reloaded. Lol. I'm like it can't be that bad! I mean if you're sitting 3 days at a time what kind of time do u have to even work?!!!

There are a few areas with light freight. CT comes to mind. If you get in a place like that you might sit a day or two if your picky like me. Trick is to learn the lanes and not sit. Sometimes it's better to take a $2 load then a $2.50 load because of freight lanes. But people still jump on the $2.50 freight then complain because they are in a bad freight area. Lol
