In another life I was a paralegal on the defense side of things. We had one case where our PI got video of a guy with a $100,000 back claim (about $240,000 in 2024 dollars) carrying a hundred pound rock from the creek bed at the back of his property in Colorado fifty feet up a steep bank to his back yard for a landscaping project.

Had another where I found a malingerer's ex-wife who testified about our claim and a couple of other fake workers comp claims he had made over the years. No spousal privilege attached because they hadn't gotten married yet when it happened. She was remarried and seemed to enjoy testifying about his fake injuries under oath.

Several others as well. It always felt good to catch the fakers and deny them money.

Completed orientation for the new company today. Picked up a chassis as well. Turned in my other chassis to the old company a few hours ago. I will be doing the same thing at the same wells, just with a better situation.

If I were in their shoes I would return my $2500 escrow in a timely manner…..which means it better hit my account on Friday.

Yeah, a lot of those escrow agreements say that they have 45 days to pay up. Look at your paperwork.

    Welp.
Got PM at a Loves.. they updated some “faulty break sensor on recall.”
I never had trouble with it.
Left out, got a few miles down road, no cruise.
    Like you’re riding brake.
Now we wait another five (5) minutes until they open.

Judge isnt happy, I’d be home by now, instead still 4 hours away.
