565 miles, load, unload, reload. Drove part of it. Only 275 miles remain. But I was hungry. Stopped at Lebo KS. Not TA but 66 across street. Didn’t feel like parking down hill in the pot hole valley.

Another busy day of "hometime" playing taxi service and running around trying to keep all branches of the family who are happy to see me satisfied. I did manage to get to the cigar store inside the liquor store that used to sell me spirits when I was sixteen (16) years old. Scored ten (10) La Galeras (not available online, only at certain retailers) plus five (5) other choice brands. Turns out the son of the original owner took it over, moved it across the street, and built a really nice cigar lounge to boot.



Enjoying one now along with a shot of cheap whisky. Lightning bugs, crickets, etc.

Mom decided to sell the farm (but not to any foreigners or investors from NYC or Seattle, only other farmers who live in the county). Meeting up tomorrow with two childhood friends that I haven't seen in fifty (50) years. They sell ag land for a living these days. That's fine with me since I don't know anything about how to manage a farm.
