All I meant is that once you had the corrected bols you could have tried to stay on top of the driver a bit more, especially if you had any idea he was confused or didn't want to deal with it.
What would you do?

I am reluctant to address that little tidbit...
Suppose you are that driver and here you are with a sheaf of fresh faxed hot printout of updated BOL's that might contain what was or may not be in actual loaded back there. Some people do not possess the understanding or desire to dive that deep into paperwork.
I agree that the broker did not communicate effectively. I don't think there was much there to gather from such a broker. I know nothing about that particular broker, however I know enough to avoid brokers who want to play dispatcher on my cell phone while I am doing 72 down the west coast on their load. I already have a dispatcher for that. Call them. Not me. No wheels rolling while brokers bother me about stuff I could care less about. Talk to dispatcher. CH Robinson comes to mind. I understand they are a big outfit etc. But I do not want to be bothered. I have my own set of challenges thank you.... basically you want this load or not Mr Broker?
I also agree with never using that broker again after this load is over and done with whatever happens here on out. My question is left with one.
Why? that broker, why? Presuming you had other brokers you regularly work with? Just to be loaded and rolling? At any price?slow.rider Thanks this. -

I appreciate you taking time to write.
I think that this mess will be swept out of the trailer and wash hands of it and move on with other loads that should be worth your time and business.(And that of your driver too...)
What a mess. Im apology for being difficult at times with the english language, converting from Deaf to english words does not always come out right but I think it worked out well enough.
Good luck! -
Likewise, I appreciate your insight and thanks for your time. I'm learning a lot in these last two years of being in trucking. Good luck with everything.x1Heavy Thanks this.

Very understood, my problem was that I couldn't go on the doc and watch them load me. First off I'm getting into a doc with door shut and loaded and sealed from the inside. Now I'm set off to deliver to two stops. First stop successful and was able to count the remains and what was tooking. Everything was correct as I assumed in till the last drop. There was a shortage that's is not on the bills, everything on bills was delivered then to find out that the first stop took a pallet of the same product.. Now I'm in trouble. What could I have do if I could of been to watch my load been load and to know what goes where and to who?
