Made my two drops yesterday morning, was empty early, washout and headed to my first pick up, they loaded me early a few hrs before my appointment. Second pick up didn't work so well, 5 minutes before my appointment I was finally at the dock. But could squeeze in an eight hour sleeper :)
Left L.A. at 9 PM, traffic was great. no delays and stopped at Peggy Sue's 50's Diner for the night, there's always plenty of room after midnight.

Have only 3.56 left for tomorrow, will be a short day. Have to wait till midnight till my hrs roll back, then to Denver for a 5 AM delivery. Will have more than 11 hrs for Friday.

I'm in Mauston, WI headed to Shelbyville, IN for a Saturday morning drop then reload Saturday afternoon in Lebanon, IN for Portland.

Been cold across the northern plains. Much colder than normal for early November.

It was 9 degrees in Mandan, ND when I awoke from my break on the 7th.

I delivered this morning in Taylor, MI, then shot over and grabbed a preloaded trailer in Massillon, OH.

I made back over to ex 144 (I-80 and I-69 intersect) in Indiana. I'm headed to Ontario, OR.

p.s. Left the house on the 26th, exactly 2 weeks. 6173 miles scanned in as of today. I average about 2850 miles a week so off to a good start for this trip out. :)

    Denver CO.
Started my day (night) yesterday at midnight Central Time as my hrs rolled back. (11 PM Mountain Time).
Was at the receiver short after 4 AM and took an eight hr sleeper. Was tired but couldn't sleep.
Meanwhile I was told by dispatch that another driver will bring me a trailer to Denver for Oakland CA.
Plan was that he should be there tomorrow morning. Had my shower, washed out before I dropped the trailer on the drop yard, then called for an update. Looks as if the load will not be loaded before tomorrow. Not a problem, will have a reset then.
Made 15190 miles since I left the home Oct. 9.
And it's my 2nd anniversary today with GO Express, a bit more than 250,000 miles driven since Nov. 10 2015. Don't forget, I always take a lot of time off ;)
Will be out another week and then finally we can close and move in the new house. I hope I will be homeowner and in the house before Thanksgiving.

Left Denver Sunday morning and made my delivery in Oakland this morning. Picked up 10 miles from the receiver in the afternoon for Longmont CO.
Made it over Donner before the winter storm kicks in this night.

I'm at the Troutdale TA. Got one of those rare mid-afternoon grocery DC appointments tomorrow (Portland Albertsons) then later load down in Salem that evening, to get a Monday night Dallas unload, then home for 3 or 4 days for Thanksgiving.

I hope this pending system get's moved out by Friday morning/midday so I there's no issues between Pendleton and Baker City, and not see any flashing chain lights.

Just walked into the office in Omaha this morning when I got an email, finally my loan is approved and we can close next week. Told dispatch I need a load going home. They figured out a plan and about two hours later I was on the way to Grand Island NE, picking up a loaded trailer in the morning and take it to Denver. Another driver is waiting for the trailer and I will pick up a load on Monday for Albuquerque, deliver on Tuesday.
It was amazing how fast they arranged everything to get me home :headbang:

My Allentown delivery appointment got pushed to Monday night, so I'm dropping in our Gary yard and grabbing another load that delivers first thing Monday morning in the same general area, then headed to Massillon, OH to grab a preloaded trailer going to Atlanta for a drop and hook.

*Likely* grab a preloaded beer load from Cartersville to Pensacola after my drop in Atlanta and then go home. :)

p.s. Someone rummaged through my chains last night at the Love's in North Platte. NE. Fortunately, they didn't steal them.

I kept hearing something but thought it was the flatbed fella behind me tightening his load straps or chains. Then, this morning I noticed someone had raised the cover over the chain rack on my tractor. I had to pull them off and make sure they were all there.

Thankfully, they were. I suspect they realized I have super singles and they needed duals. Either that or they got spooked before the deed was done.

Either way, they have a lock on them now. I don't know why I didn't already have a lock. I keep a lock on my load lock rack. Oh well, there's one there now! ;)
