It still works at all pilot/fjs. They didnt close the fuel cards for all stops. I had a fuel stop in Wytheville. Two flying j's they wanted me too stop off the one on exit 77 just before the interchange into charlotte and get a certain amount of fuel. I stop at the one on exit 80 and filled up. There was no sense into me stopping at the one on exit 77 when im heading further south on I81 towards bristol that wouldve be 5 miles out of route that i know i woudnt get paid for.

Another prime example. Topton PA to Chilicotte OH only 478 miles . No big deal system advices me too get fuel in Frystown PA flying j which i had planned. The route is obviously trying too be cheap and not go threw the PA turnpike (which i did anyway) What gets me is it the system wants me too go from I78 to I81 to I70 to I68 to I79 and get fuel and fill up in Morgantown WV. From there i catch US50 all the way too chillicothe. When i got too chillicothe. I still had shy of 5/8ths of a tank of fuel. Just enough too get to Beckely WV for time off.

Two fill up fuel stops for a run that can be done in with one fill up. I started with a half of a tank when i picked up in Topton. Also the OOR was about 5 miles or so. I think this system they have is not only a joke but might be a dip in their profit. Buying fuel is one of there highest cost they say yet buying fuel unnecessarily is a bigger cost as well as going 20-30 miles OOR with no extra pay. An assist too my trip planning is dont assist me at all if you havent ever put a truck in 1st gear or are a desk jockey.

At this time it/the card works everywhere on the approved fuel directory list, however as they hone/fine tune this fuel/route POS system, it may block you out, now that's when the real stupidity will happen. Also like if you want to take a south route in lieu of running a north route for example like the northwest in the winter, per their words you just contact the fuel team and they will give you the fuel/route stops for that route, a real rookie needs that dont ya know....lol).. I'm like you about the half tank I do the same, but with this system they say it wont let you get below 3/8 tank before your given another approved stop...lol.and they say per QC that in winter it has set parameters in place wont let you run out of fuel.(try that one on a major winter weather storm shutdown) How about that new message today over the QC that drivers are liking it and they just new they would once they gave the system a chance, yeah okay, any driver that would like this has got to be on something!! More propaganda!!

I would say God was looking out for me when I left CNTL. The luxury of not having to compete with other drivers at a truck stop to get a shower. Not having to worry about finding a place to park the truck to take my 10 hour break. Home cooked meals every night. Having a shower waiting on me when I get home from working my day job hauling freight from destination to the next, and not having to use e-logs or paper logs, because I only go no more than a 100 air mile radius from my terminal. Get paid hourly, and paid really well. Don't have to get in a big hurry, and worry about ruining my impeccable safety record. Get paid to fuel my truck and put DEF in it. Got a new daycab truck. Get paid to do my Pre and Post Trip Inspections. Get paid for my 30 minute rest break. I'm utterly and truly blessed beyond words.

Almost forgot, silly me, we have meetings once a month. During the meetings the company furnishes the drivers a meal that is catered. Annual company picnics that are really really nice. The company matches up to 10% of contributions to your 401k. The company shuts down 2 weeks during Christmas time to allow the drivers to spend quality time with the families. If you don't have vacation time. The company will allow you to draw unemployment insurance during the shut down. If you have vacation time. The driver has to use during that time. Dispatch never ever bothers you at all. They're to help you if you need it. The terminal manager, and every dispatcher was a driver at one time. If you have to stay overnight in a hotel for some very good reason. The company issues the driver a company credit card to pay for hotel expenses ahead if they feel you will need one. They have excellent benefits.10 co-pay for office visits if you have to see a doctor. The company has short and long term disability insurance. Vision and Dental insurance as well. I have only been overnight and away from home one night since I have been with the company. They don't put you in some #### roach infested hotel. If I had find this job a while back, I wouldn't have been over the road. If you are gone overnight. The company pays you milage plus hourly as well.

Sounds like an LTL job, I have one of those too and all the stuff you talk about I have as well. With exception to the log thing, as I run the road at night (it's my bid spot), otherwise 90-100k/annual and happy as well.

Still with CCX of course! (Or XPO or PDQ or whatever)
