    Too much debt.
Like buying a house, 2 new cars, a couple of 4 wheelers, and a Harley.
Granted, your income will support it in the good times, but when the business slows down, you're screwed.

In my personal experience, a company isn't healthy when taking a 30 at a shipper's door is one of the drivers' most cherished protections.

    It's not all on management.

Was notified by management that some of our start times will be moved forward 2 hours. All hands on deck to deliver freight. When asked about pick-ups, it was crickets.

"Seriously dude. Don't #### us. You know something that we don't. What is going on?"

....Looks like they are trying to clear out the dock and storage trailers. It's honestly not looking good at all. Upper management isn't telling us ####. We know that they know way more than what they are telling us. They just need to fess the #### up that we are closing.

"Just so you know, I probably have a job interview lined up. Don't expect me to show up early. I'll sign the warning letter, just have it ready".

Go for it R/R. Doubt there is enough time left to fire you. You coming to the strike on Monday?

"Why? You can't come. You are management".

Nah brother. No way in hell I am going inside to do nothing at my desk. I'll be outside with my grill selling you guys hotdogs and cold bottles of water for $5. Y'all aren't the only ones going without a paycheck. Don't worry about crossing the picket line. I'll bring the food to you guys.

I counted five sets of doubles on Hwy 36 and I-35, today. I was surprised to see them.

We typically send out 17 linehaul drivers. We are now down to 9.

That’s just ignorant, especially if the jerk in question is holding up 2 other guys who just want to get done and go home.
