According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), fuel prices are falling nationwide. This past month, the average decrease in the cost of diesel was 2.5 cents per gallon, which only helped contribute to the 14.8 cent per gallon decrease compared to the price of diesel the same week of last year.
A report issued by the International Energy Agency (IEA) has updated the estimate that the United States will become the top oil-producing nation in the world – passing Saudi Arabia – by 2015. This report pushed up the deadline estimated in their previous report by a full two years.

Be nice if prices in fuel keep dropping and stay low. Kinda doubt the fuel savings will funnel their way down to increase driver compensations at the mega carriers. But I am sure O/O could use a break from the high prices we’ve had. It’s nice to have some good news though.
