Driver Turnover Rates At Record Lows

Post image for Driver Turnover Rates At Record Lows

Difficulty getting hired and low pay are a common complaint amongst drivers today, and the reason isn’t surprising. With the driver turnover rate at 52% for large truckload fleets, companies aren’t as pressed to fill positions as they were two years ago, when the turnover rate was 85%. The decline is even more apparent when compared to the fourth quarter of 2005, when the turnover rate was 136%.

Turnover rate is even lower at small truckload fleets, at 42%.
