One carrier owner is in hot water again thanks to a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on behalf of two employees who claim that the hostile work environment forced them to resign. This is the second lawsuit that has been brought against his companies by the EEOC.
According to the lawsuit, the owner of two trucking companies, T-N-T of York County, Inc. and TM Trucking of the Carolinas, LLC verbally harassed his workers.
The lawsuit claims that he used the “N-word” when referring to African-American employees multiple times per day and referred to a Native American employee as an “Indian (N-word).” It further claims that the owner told an employee that “monkeys could drive better” than the company’s black drivers and that black people aren’t able to read or write.
Rodney Dunlap, Warren Chisolm, and five other former employees quit their jobs due to the racially hostile environment and are suing the company. The prosecution is seeking for the employees to receive lost wages, punitive damages, and additional compensation for their mistreatment.
This isn’t the first time that the carrier owner has been in trouble with the EEOC. In fact, in March of 2014, the company settled a sexual harassment lawsuit with a former employee.
But it isn’t just harassment that the company owner is struggling with. According to The Herald, a federal court filed an injunction, telling TNT to please pay their taxes. As of June 2015, the company owed more than $2.7 million to the government and hadn’t been paying the taxes that were withheld from employee paychecks.

Play theme music from “Jaws” for this company !
The worst part about the taxes is if the company shuts down the irs will go after the workers for the money. They don’t care where it comes from they are going to get their fix like any junky.
Don’t mess with big brothers money, he’ll get it one way or another. Owner sounds like a real dueshebag.
I need to think about starting my own trucking companies. If someone this stupid can own and operate 2 carriers, I could probably own 5 or 6…
Why is this owner still being allowed to operate? Beeter yet, why is he still a active member of the gene pool?
