Employees at five different CDL testing centers have been indicted on charges that they sold test answers and assistance to people looking to pass their CDL exams. Eleven employees in the New York Department of Motor Vehicles were allegedly part of a scheme where customers could buy a passing grade on their CDL exam for between $1,800 and $2,500.
Once a CDL applicant had paid the money, they would be guided through the exam in one of several ways. Either the employees would give them the answers through pencils containing encoded information or they would simply give the applicant the answer through the use of a Bluetooth headset. In some cases, DMV employees even took the CDL exam themselves on behalf of the customer.
There is no word yet on what the eleven members of the scheme have been charged with or what their punishment is likely to be.

How prices have gone up…I can remember reading years ago that Chicago was only charging $250.00 to sell you a CDL…
LMAO If you need to cheat to pass the easiest test on the planet, how did they come up with $2500.00?
Is anyone in authority even resemble honesty
Anymore ? The people who make and enforce all the stupid laws
That some daydreaming asshole can come up with because their haveing a bad day
And want everybody to be as miserable as they are.
Now days we have sleezie people making laws for honest people to live by
Theirs something wrong with that.
It’s sad what the world is coming to for “THE LOVE OF MONEY, IS THE ROOT OF ALL TYPES OF EVIL”.
I agree with George, I passed the passenger endorsement written test without even reading the book and just using common sense. The Hazmat I almost passed 76% without reading the book, read and retook the test passing easily.
