A group of three owner-operators have filed a class action lawsuit against their former carrier after they say the company breached their contract and violated truth-in-leasing regulations.
The three men, Vernon Mast, Richard Hilton, and Benjamin Selby, all used to drive for Go 2 Transportation, a 40 truck auto carrier based in Arizona. They claim that the company paid their drivers less than they should have by billing the customer one thing, and telling the drivers another.
Since the O-Os allege that the shady dealings happened “regularly and systematically,” not just to them, they have started a class action suit that would include any other owner-operators that leased with Go 2 Transportation in the last 4 years.
In addition to accusing the company of violating truth-in-leasing regulations, the lawsuit also accuses them of unlawful provision of transportation services, failure to provide accountings and to pay interest on escrow accounts, breach of contract, and breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing.

I think this happens moreso than not. After finding out in multiple occasions that my company billed one thing but told me otherwise I went to several other owner ops to file a suit. Even though the others were aware of the practice they were more concerned about losing work than being paid what they should have been. Well I sued, won the case and they’re still looking for a new carrier to lease on to.
So glad you fought them and won ! No transparency makes it too easy to lie and manipulate the truck drivers.
Yeah I see some serious companies being sued coming down the pipeline the next 25 years
And companies wonder why they can’t keep drivers!!!
