A grand jury has charged a former Ohio trucker with 25 crimes including kidnapping, rape, and murder after he allegedly killed at least 5 people. Prosecutors are referring to the man as a “serial killer.”
According to the prosecution, Robert Rembert Jr. killed Rena Mae Payne in May of 1997, Kimberly D. Hall in June of 2015, then Jerry Rembert and Morgan Nietzel in September of 2015. The gap in the killings is due to his conviction in 1998 for the murder of Dadren Lewis which landed him in jail for six years.
Rembert was hunted down and captured at a Pilot Flying J after the murder of his cousin, Jerry Rembert, and Morgan Nietzel.
Authorities are currently investigating to see if Rembert has been involved in any other unsolved murders, but given his career as a trucker, police will have to expand the search past local areas.
“Robert Rembert is a serial killer. So far, we know he’s purposefully executed five people,” said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty. “An investigation of his activities as an over-the-road truck driver is currently underway.”
Sooooo captured at the Flying hook? I’d really like to know which one, where does the rape fit in? Who did he drive for with such a violent past? Very interesting that we are so highly regulated, but such a cretin has no problem getting behind the wheel of 80,000 lbs!!
Id gamble he worked for one of these smaller outfits. Id even gamble out of NYC where lots of mini companies come from producing lots of fuzzy drivers that dont get examined at all.
There’s a pretty shady operation in Waterloo, IA as well. They run under three different company names, and it’s not even to dodge the DOT….they use the names to dodge the brokers that won’t work with them too!
The judge that sentenced him to only 6 years for the murder of Dadren Lewis should be charged as an accessory to murder for all the murders he committed after serving that joke of a 6 year sentence.
Yes he should. How does that happen? He should be in the cell with him.
Rumor has it the gentleman work for Roehl Transport.
He drove a black truck that’s what we were looking for i was driving for navajo then I remember the alert…he was dumping the bodies on the side of the road..

Was watching a documentary and it was saying that they have long suspected. That at any given time there is serial killers working as truck drivers
