A New York trucker has been awarded $2.2 million over charges that he faced both racial and sexual harassment from his former employers.
A jury found in favor of trucker Raymond Rosas after he sued his former bosses including Barry Rosenberg for harassing him, accusing him of theft, and firing him. According to Rosas, Rosenberg would often draw penises on his paychecks, slap and grab at his buttocks, and even stick his tongue out to try to lick his face.
Rosenberg wasn’t the only one who harassed him though. Rosas also claims that another supervisor, Mark Balter, would say racist things to minority drivers. When Rosas asked him to stop, Balter allegedly replied that Rosas had “a Latin attitude.”
Soon after, Balter fired Rosas, claiming that he had stolen boxes of equipment, even going so far as to press charges and file a lawsuit (which was later shot down) demanding payment for the “stolen” equipment.
Now, more than three years after the lawsuit began, Rosas will finally be awarded $2.2 million for the harassment that he endured.

What kind of gay company is that? So I’m assuming this Rosas guy was a Latin gay guy that got picked on by his bosses because any normal man would have gotten fired for cracking one of there heads open, especially after getting slapped on the ass
Floyd, You might be guilty too! You assume he’s gay and then reference “any normal man” as a non-gay. Dude, gay guys are just as normal as anyone else and how ‘gay’ a person appears doesn’t necessarily mean they are, or are not, gay. If you practice the attitude toward LGBT folks that you express in your comment, you might find yourself on the wrong end or a similar lawsuit. Many 1950’s style attitudes don’t really work in this century. A person’s race, sexual orientation, height, hair color, etc. give no indication of the quality of the person and we are all just ‘normal’ folks!

Sorry, Terry, but if I were a dude and my boss was drawing penises on my paychecks, trying to play grab-ass or attempting to lick my face, I might wonder about his sexual orientation as well.
Or he meant a normal guy would knock the crap out of anyone who treated him like that, gay or not. Quit claiming gay is normal and demanding special treatment at the same time. Or you could go try to lick a lady’s face and she how hard you get hit.
