The Alabama Highway Patrol removed from their accident report before releasing it to the press the name of the driver who caused an accident by pulling out his own tooth while driving.
This merciful move by the Alabama Highway Patrol may save the driver from ridicule for the absolutely boneheaded move. He was driving on I-20 East of Tuscaloosa when his truck veered off the road and overturned, blocking all lanes of traffic.
When police officers asked why the truck had veered, the driver told them that he had taken both of his hands off the wheel to try and pull out a loose tooth. According to police, the driver then pulled the tooth out of his shirt pocket and offered it as proof.
It was a one vehicle accident, and the driver wasn’t seriously hurt, but it still took 11 hours before even one lane of traffic was reopened.

. In all seriousness that drivers is an idiot. He had a brain fart that lasted for years evidently. If it took both hands to pull it , Just how loose was it?SMH
I don’t get why he needed two hands. At best, you’re only gonna get your thumb and one finger on it.
Mustve been a molar….other hand was pulling the cheek back.
What can I say? It’s Alabama! If he doesn’t have more than 4 left in his head he’ll be able to get a job at the waffle house.
Well..at least he wasn’t texting..
Probably come out with legislation now
Prohibiting commercial drivers from doing mobile dentistry.
Hahaha I literally lol’d at your mobile dentistry remark.
They’ll charge him for practicing dentistry without the proper license!!!
I guess that the bright minds that lead us will have a reason come up with some more laws about teeth and driving. hee, hee, heee!
How can you legislate stupidity?
I’m pretty sure someone will figure it out, right?
Say goodbye to any driving job for the next few years.
In his defense,,,, his company dental plan was HORRIBLE!
