Late Friday night, a Maine truck driver narrowly escaped the flames that consumed his entire truck, only to be picked up by a fellow driver and was almost immediately involved in another accident. As unlucky as the two accidents might seem, Lance Vangel, the driver, is very lucky that he walked away from both incidents without a scratch.
It was shortly before 7pm when Vangel noticed a small flame under his dashboard. He pulled off to the side of I-95 intending to put the fire out with his fire extinguisher, but by the time he pulled over it was too late. He escaped the cab before the whole truck was engulfed in flames, shutting down the interstate for an hour and a half. Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene, and by the time the traffic had started moving again, a fellow driver from his company, Charles Hoyt came to pick up Vangel.
Vangel had only made it less than 10 miles from his burnt-out rig before Hoyt lost control of his rig and they went into the median. The trooper who was at the previous scene responded to the call and found that Vangel was a passenger in the second truck as well. Vangel was unharmed, but Hoyt was taken to a local hospital after he suffered injuries to his head.
Lance Vangel, a driver who was in two totaled rigs in one night, walked away from both incidents without a scratch.

I hope Mr. Hoyt is okay. When it rains it pours. It must really suck to lose all your belongings like that. I hope he was able to save some of his stuff.
No doubt he needs to get right with God if he hasn’t already. Sometimes God puts us in a situation to get our attention when that soft still voice of His gets ignored.
If he is saved then by all means he needs to give God praise for saving him from Satan’s wrath.
