A trucker has pled guilty to charges of influencing a federal official by threat after he allegedly threatened an FMCSA inspector over a fine his company was going to be issued.
According to the DOT’s Office of Inspector General, trucker Ronald Mockelman’s company was set to receive a $3,680 fine after an FMCSA inspector discovered that his company didn’t have a proper drug testing program. Mockelman, angry about the fine, made several phone calls to the FMCSA Nebraska Division offices during which he threatened bodily harm to inspectors.
Unwilling to stop there, Mockelman then went farther up the ladder and made threatening phone calls to the FMCSA regional Midwestern Service Center on the same day. During one such phone call he said “Every last one of you is dead,” and told them that he was buying a gun. The following Monday however he called to apologize.
Threatening federal employees is a serious crime and the Fremont Tribune claims that he could spend up to a year in prison as a result.

The dude probably tries to bully and threaten everyone he doesn’t like. Throw him in jail for six months, especially after claiming he’ll get a gun to solve the problem.
These are the types of people that DO NOT need to be in the trucking industry especially. Away with him!!
How much you wanna bet he talks the same way to his employees?
