Two unnamed truckers who drive for LTI Inc. are being hailed as heroes for helping to pull an older woman, her two young grandkids and two dogs out of a burning vehicle.
The woman was driving her two four-year-old grandkids in a GMC pickup when they were in an accident. A Ford Mustang was stopped in the lane going the opposite direction and was waiting to turn left when it was hit from behind by a delivery van, pushing it into oncoming traffic. The pickup hit the Mustang and ended up in a ditch where police say it immediately caught fire.
As the accident happened, two drivers from LTI, Inc happened to be passing and immediately pulled over, grabbed their fire extinguishers, and rushed to help.
With the drivers beating back the flames, another good Samaritan helped to pull the woman, her grandkids, and two dogs from the burning vehicle. One other dog died in the fire.
The grandmother suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, but police report that thanks to everyone wearing seatbelts and proper restraints, no one else was seriously injured.
Way to go, drivers!

It’s really nice to hear they did that, kudos to everyone that helped. And what’s more impressive is the fact they remain anonymous. So they didn’t do it for glory and in today’s society that’s rare.
Awesome job guy’s
“The grandmother suffered serious injuries……” “……thanks to everyone wearing seat belts, no one suffered serious injury.”
Huh?
Good job on the rescue LTI drivers.
Every vehicle on the road should have to keep an extinguisher within reach of the driver.
No one else**
Kudos to the truck drivers for their quick thinking and help. Prayers for the grandmother and kids and pets.
