As I travel west, trucking legal
well, trying to do my best
My turbo is howling, my belly a growling
A Trucker is what they call me
I travel the highways, both high and low
Where I’ll be sent next I don’t know
As I travel across this great land
How great it is to be a truck driving American
the day is once again coming to an end
a place to lay my head i will seek again
to wake tomorrow and do it once again
after all I am a truck driving American
which is rare these days wondering these
grand highways
