Long road, Another Load
Alone again
The blue stretches high above
The black long below
Leaving memories time
to ribbon out
Reflecting the road in the mind
Singing country songs for company
Squeezing out the feeling of
Lonely
A voice, a touch, a flash of face
A smile, a laugh takes
the place
of time alone counting the miles
Memories of time together
In the mind like files.
