You’re never alone,
No matter the distance from home.
The trails you have to take,
For loved ones you have to make.
Difficult decisions for you,
Another has already been through.
Life and death matters,
Your heart they easily put in shatters.
Friends you thought you had,
Now there’s only you and and the thoughts you had.
You have been chosen,
No other will know when.
The job you do,
Comes with prayers too.
To keep up the fight,
rather than take the easy flight.
Your lessons well learned,
Before the tables so roughly were turned.
Now with others you must share,
Your story of having been there.
Though the State doesn’t count,
It is the feelings you recount.
May the pages you see,
Make you a person free.
Not from the loving faithful ones,
But those of Satan’s sons.
