Stay away from this company very unsafe delivery times. Dispatchers (some) are very nasty mouth
foul language directed at the driver, they do not pay attention to drivers hours. Will accuse you of
about anything they can come up with put it on your Dac Report. The owner Murry and his son-in
law are the most problem very disrespectful. You might get to drive that nice Peterbilt but you will
pay for the right to do so. They do mess with you pay do yourself a favor stay away. They are also
watched very closely but the Iowa DOT for hrs
I have been driving for Florilli for almost a year. I have been driving for 13 years. I have no problem getting to the shipper and receiver more than on time. I have had no problem with dispatch being respectful as well. Murry is a very nice man to work for. Here is the one thing to remember that most drivers don’t do anymore. Keep the door closed and the hammer down, do what you are susposed to do, and let dispatch know of any issues. I keep an average of 60 mph and I don’t screw around. I bring home an average of 700 a week and am happy about that.
Saw a job advertised for outside Iowa and looked up this company. Not a very good recommendation – just a disgruntled employee or does he tell it like it is? Don’t see a rebuttal from Murray or his boy. Jes’ wonderin’.
Can anyone come back about this?
Nope clydetheride….fumble is right on all I was a driver with Florilli for 12 months and in that time was the worst truck experience I have had in my 9 years of driving both as an owner and as a company driver. Yes again Mr Murray son-in-law has no clue how to deal with people. They will tell you the customer is waiting on some hot load, and you get there the customer is either closed or not expecting you till a later date. I was in an orientation with 16 people by the end of the first day 2 people walked out. At the end of 30 days of the 14 of us that decided to stomach the experience only 5 people were left. I decided to give them a year as i dont like jumping from company to company. There delivery windows are extremely tight. Their trucks top speed is 62 but they dispatch like they have 65 mph trucks. You’ll get a load thats being sitting or that has been abandoned by a driver and they expect you to deliver ontime. And one thing they never ever tell you in orientation is that they will leave you sitting for days at a time with no layover pay and if you are empty and dont get a load by Fri. 5pm you sit till Monday. Its one lie after another and their turnover is like 95% . Theres not enough room on this blog to give you the whole picture so this is a summary. and to answer your other question florilli is not going to rebutt anything they are too busy dealing with d.o.t audits.
I have been with Florilli for 4 years, and a driver for 11. Other than the normal issues that come up from time to time in the Trucking industry, good company to work for.
I will say that I have had zero problems getting equipment fixed, never had my comdata card blocked, only had 1 late load, they never put anything on my DAC that was not true, no questions asked when my wife got sick and went home while still under a load, resigned pending outcome of my wifes health issues. Florilli Transportation called to check on my wife and family and asked if there was anything they could do for us. I am treated with respect and they listen to what I have to say and respect what I say. Not a bad company to work for if you do what you are hired to do(drive and deliver loads ontime). The appointment times are set by the customers so its nothing the front office is doing wrong. I will say its honestly not a bad company to work for, also trucking isnt for everyone either.
I’m thinking about going to drive for Florilli can anyone who drives for them tell me anything about them.I see they have a good running area & I like to drive at night.
This company is dirty it has a terrible reputation for a reason. Of course you’ll always get a few drivers that sing it praises, but for the most part many, many drivers have horror stories about Florilli for a reason. That reason is it’s the truth they lie, steal your money by not giving you layover pay etc…… the list goes on and on. Will totally ruin you on a dac report total lies AG, BBB, and other agencies will be looking in to this if I can help it. DIRTY UNDER HANDED SO CALLED COMPANY KARMA’S COMIING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I drive for them currently, I’m 2weeks in, thinking about turning there truck in or just parking it an trying my luck elsewhere, I see some of the stuff u saying, they got my fuel card on,but I can’t get any cash advance no more. An I don’t know if I’m getting paid for the load I did last week, cause the card is blocked when I try an check it… But I don’t get something at 3pm today.. I’m parking this… I have orientation starting Monday with a different company. Little do they know.
I am an xemployee of florilli and I never had an issue with dispatch or getting loaded regardless of where I was at in the country. The only issue I had was when donner pass had the chain law up and at the time florilli only ran cables. I talked to Brad and after explaining what the situation was a that I was willing to put the chains on he oked the purchase of the chains and down the rd I went. I even delivered the ld on time. Bottom line is if I got out of driving local and came back out otr florilli would be my 1st phone call

Worked for florilli 3years. Didn’t have problems with dispatch. And Brad and Murray are easy going and easy to work with.
Saw a job advertised for outside Iowa and looked up this company. Not a very good recommendation – just a disgruntled employee or does he tell it like it is? Don’t see a rebuttal from Murray or his boy. Jes’ wonderin’.
