Following successful completion of the 3 weeks of class, Step One Trainees spend 28 days and 200 driving hours with a certified OTR trainer where they learn life on the road, company policies and procedures and fine tune driving skills. Step Two also serves as continuing education for new truck drivers as it takes a minimum of 3-6 months with Central Refrigerated to be fully prepared to begin a successful truck driving career. During this time the drivers establish relationships with their driver managers and other office personnel, which will increase their success down the truck driving career path.
