Additional Information Provided By The School:
IITR states: “IITR is the only nationally accredited private career truck school in the Northwest and has been continually accredited since 1986. IITR is accredited just like colleges and universities that are accredited by regional accrediting commissions. Our accrediting agency isACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. ACCET is located in Washington D.C. and is a national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. It should be noted that all schools in Oregon are required to be licensed by the state, but accreditation is not mandatory. Many schools will not incur the expense nor undergo the scrutiny of the initial accreditation process and the ongoing monitoring required. IITR strongly believes in accreditation to assure quality programs and strict adherence to the eight standards of accreditation.”
