Im sorry they made you eat it tooRaiderfanatic Thanks this. -
I only ate at truck stops when I was with a trainer, thankfully it was only a week. After I got my own truck I only ate food and drank water I brought from home. Felt better too.
-
Fixed it for you....
Rigbuilder, Chucktaylor, andre and 6 others Thank this. -
That's what I do. I could write a cookbook on using the RoadPro lunchbox stove.
I do grab fast food once in a while if I'm pressed for time and if I stop at a Petro I'll eat at the iron skillet but for the most part, I pack food.morr2fab and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Isn't that Ruther Glen flying hook actually a Patriot Farms or something? Might just be a contract with Patriot Farms. I remember the waitress saying that it was going to be a Golden Corral, but didn't hear why.
-
Now that you mention it, I do think I read that here at some point.
-
There are 2 Hooks on that exit. The one on the west side, that has always been a Flying J that has a Denny's in it now, and the former Petro on the east side that went from an Iron Skillet to a Patriot Farms and currently has nothing other than a dis-attatched Wendy's.
-
the iron skillets are actually pretty good, I like their breakfast skillet
I would like to see new options, sick of seeing the same crap subway, chesters, wendys, mcd's etc. No wonder a lot of truckers are fat these days. -
there was a post about this not to long ago the general consensus was yes golden corral was moving in to ruther gleen flying j
