Recently found out, after 2 years, why i cannot get back into trucking. C.R. England posted that i "failed a post accident drug screen", I did not fail it for the simple fact they kept calling me back into the building and the shuttle they had was packed, on the 3rd trip back into the building, they fired me on the spot for not taking the mandatory drug screen. Now i am an out of work trucker, no money to prove my innocents and living on the streets (litterally speaking). I can go to work via a temporary service, which is only a day per week if not a month at a time.
Getting back to the point, yes, i do know what i got to get done, but i have no money to do so. I am not asking for any help, i am just pointing out why i cannot get back into trucking.
Why i have been out of a truck for 2 years

Refusing a post-accident drug test is the same as pizzing dirty......
Sorry...but that's how it is.... -
No S***, Sherlock, I have been in the trucking industry long enough to know this. However, you missed the point, C.R. England called me in the building each time i went to meet up with the company shuttle, they wanted me gone regardless if i took a "Post Accident Drug Screen". Needless to say they got there chance each time the higher ups called me back into the building, Thank you C.R. England for ruining a good career for me.

1st rule of trucking CYA 2nd rule of trucking act like a professional at all times. Follow these rules and not only will you have no problems with the brass but they will work to keep you around. Let what happened to you be a lesson to others. If you don't give them a reason to want to get rid of you. They won't go looking for ways to do it.

3rd rule of trucking...run like hell away from Crash & Roll England!!
Seriously, while I have never driven for this outift...if I had a dime for every tale of hard luck and woe I've heard about these guys over the years...I'd be a pretty wealthy dude!
And yet...people STILL hire-on to this company.
Not only that, but they LEASE trucks from them, too!!!
Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!Mortis Thanks this. -
So you are blaming CRE for your accident and your failed drug test.....pathetic...
-
When the shuttle was full why didn't you walk to the building? I would have if it was that important and a post accident drug screen is prety important.
-
heck, when I had one warehouse job, you had to take a drug test if you backed into a post, hit anything, etc etc - and everyone got that done ASAP
would never let a test slide for my CDL
something doesn't sound right here to meWorking Class Patriot Thanks this. -
Did i say i blamed CRE for the accident? No!
Do i blame CRE for not allowing me to go take the "post accident drug screen" as inscribed in the U.S. D.O.T. handbook? YES!
As i stated, they called me back into the building each time i "tried" to go meet up with the company shuttle, the doctors office was on the other side of SLC from where the terminal was located. They did watch me sit at the spot where the shuttle picks up and drops off all the drivers, the brass "failed" to look into the shuttle to see how packed it was. -
This is exactly what i did, they did not want to hear my explanation of the accident, all they asked for me to do was go take the drug screen and come back with the results. I never got the chance to leave the property due to CRE's persistence on getting rid of NEW drivers after 3 months.
