l'm retired since August 2009. l did lease purchase two tractors from May Trucking (one at a time) l prepaid my quarterly taxes, earn a steady check and paid off my lease purchase on time both times. l got clear title in my name only (both times) without issue. l found May Trucking to be fair and honest in their business dealings and they lived up to the letter of the contract. l ran western regional, dry van. l don't know how the ELD situation has affected the industry but likely not an improvement in efficiency.

I am doing ok , just barely started in november . Well the rates arent great but they arent horrible pulling flatbed , there is enough freight out there to keep moving and getting to good areas , i havent had no problem finding freight.

7 weeks left on my 2nd 1 year lease only. Everything is fine. I’ve learned a lot. I could easily buy my own truck and hit land star or similar and do fine. I haven’t decided yet what I’m gonna do. Gotta hustle at times, but it’s easy imo. But I’m in no long term purchase agreement.
If I do get my own, it will be through a dealer or used with my own financing for sure.broke down plumber, Taker11, catdog45 and 4 others Thank this. -
I'm doing okay. Having a tough month but I think that has more to do with me getting switched to a newbie driver manager than anything else.
