Cummins to consolidate filter plants, cut jobs

Another great victory for NAFTA.

 

They closed the plant in Wautoma, WI last year...lots of local jobs lost here.

 

Thats ashame so many out of jobs

 

They won't have to pay for healthcare in Mexico, another victory for our political leaders!

 

This goes beyond Medical Care. Americans as a rule want the lowest price possible for any product. As mexico has fewer standards and cheap labor the only way to keep costs low and yet make killer products is to outsource. To even attempt to portray this as because of your President or Healthcare is a story..As long as Greed for the largest possible profit and expectation of unrealistic low prices continue then expect more outsourcing..

 

My family is from Columbus, and I have many friends there. Cummins is THE major employer there. Man, oh, man....all those people, losing their jobs, pensions....that is going to be one PISSED OFF town!!
