So it is $35?
Superior pays $100 for new drivers, and has to go with 2 separate trainers for about 6 weeks each... maybe not as long with the second trainer. And I think it's $75 or $80 for experienced drivers, and usually for just a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the person.
Ok well, it's obviously a huge cut in compensation.... too bad, that extra $500 or $600 a week will be missed

You never know, With how big Heniff is now they might start training new drivers?DEllis Thanks this.

I was thinking the same thingslim shady Thanks this.

That's been my thoughts, being that Heniff bought a company equal in size to itself, that Heniff will most likely adopt some of what it likes about Superior, hopefully taking the best of both companies and merging them together. The Only problem with that hope is... we have an investment company who's sole purpose for the recapitalization of Heniff, and funding the purchase of Superior.... is profit based only. Hopefully Olympus is staying out of the decision making, and allowing the companies to come together based equally on what's best for everyone.
The drivers my husband's been training straight out of school have been A+, He's had nothing but praise for his trainees lately. So hopefully Heniff will consider keeping Superiors practice of hiring straight from school... -
Superior only hires people from certain schools and also must get high grade. The community college I got my CDL at wasn't on their list but I was able to get it added on.DEllis Thanks this.

That's been the consensus here as well. All the trainers have had no real complaints about the trainees, including myself. Hell my otr trainer even nodded off a couple of times during my time with him lol. Guess I made him comfortable enough that he was pretty relaxed just going down the roadDEllis Thanks this.

Anyone heard what will happen to the terminal managers? If they are joining Heniff and Superior terminals there will eventually be no need for 2 terminal managers? Will they keep their own meaning Heniff and let Superior's go? Or will they look at their track records and keep the best.
Also for those that met Bob Heniff what is he like? -
How many trucks was/is Superior
