It may not seem like it, but I do love kids. On the advice about dating a single mom, a badly behaved child is the sign that Mom is a piss poor mom. If she loves her kid, she will teach the kid and work with him. If not, the kid will run amok. If the kid screams and acts out in public, that's how the communicate at home. Everything you need to know about the parents, you can learn by watching the kids.
Now, if you met a girl who has a child, who works hard and still puts the time in to educate the kid on manners and behavior, and mom is a truly a kind person, snatch her up! She is a gem. Kindness is the true evidence of strength in a woman. A rare find nowadays.Swine hauler, SAR, MACK E-6 and 12 others Thank this. -
And that kind of sums up my thoughts. If she works hard, paying her own way and is bringing the kid up to be good and respectful, I'd be ok with that.singlescrewshaker, Swine hauler, SAR and 9 others Thank this.

I just thought about it...why I would wander over towards the dog at a gathering:
Say for example, you and I were invited to the same gathering. You work with your hands, and you are into the iron. I love the iron. So, you and I get into the animated discussion about iron, and mental focus and discipline, nutrition and recovery. Some fearmongering killjoy sidewalk sissy type is going to walk all the way across the room to tell you and me about how his brother got the coronavirus at the gym and how he doesn't go anymore. And all the rest of the sidewalk sissies would come jump in to tell horror stories about how afraid they were when someone sneezed on an elevator. And I would go to the dog and pet the dog because the dog is not worried about the coronavirus.1951 ford, singlescrewshaker, SAR and 7 others Thank this. -
She might be a keeper Amod! You could end up with a million bits of advice on here but if she’s the one that would be awesome for you! Just from my experience it’s nice to have the one that you would take a bullet for, but it has challenges that can test you to your core of being a man! And it’s always nice to have a Dog that you can take out for a walk and talk to!1951 ford, singlescrewshaker, SAR and 8 others Thank this.

An interesting comment...
"
I took the wife and son to DC. At Arlington National Cemetery I was last in the security line, the others passed through after dropping cell phones on conveyor. I was told several times to put my phone on belt and it wouldn’t hurt the phone, I told them I didn’t carry a cphone and was ordered to put it on the belt! I was pulled to the side by security and wanded and patted down. After establishing I hadn’t lied the HLS agent took a break and we had a Five min. Discussion on living without a cell phone...how do you navigate DC? I use a map! How do you call people while traveling? I don’t unless I can find a landline!.....wow was all I got and then have a nice day! Lol"peterbilt_2005, 1951 ford, singlescrewshaker and 8 others Thank this. -
