Listening to music from phone thru aux jack into trucks speakers that really can’t be an issue...if Wal-Mart goes that way...they’re off the charts insane...as long phone is on mount and not touched what’s the issue??

So what if he is?
These are things people might like to know before trying to go to work for walmart.
No need for that. Don’t let one naysayer stop you.Redeye7174$, JadeLove, mushroom1464 and 4 others Thank this. -
We heard the exact opposite at our depart group meetings, we were told calls and text only data usage was not looked at. This was after a question about listening to apps for music/ books. I know it's Walmart and they can do whatever they want but to prove how you used data would be very hard.Rugerfan and truckdriver31 Thank this.

Does anyone know if the Walmart safety bosses have mandated a passing ratio quota for new new drivers during their orientation week?
I know several drivers who got washed out during their backing, pre-trip or driving tests for really trivial stuff like not looking in the passenger side mirror enough.
They retest you every day for backing, driving and pre-trip. Fail one and you retake all three the next day until you pass. Problem is, it’s with a different evaluator every day and there’s no consistency between them.... some are helpful, others are looking for anything to wash you outT.Rucker and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
there is no quota here. either you pass it or you don't. thats only the beginning of your training. your dc trainer still has too train you also. when i got on wm. i did everything in one day as steps. you had to pass each step to get to the next. took 12 hours. then i waited 3 months to start.dwells40 Thanks this.

I don’t have an answer for you, but that was my frustration as well at onboarding. In the second day, the guy who watched me do my pre trip wasn’t paying attention, checking his phone and wandering around. Afterwards he says I missed a bunch of stuff I know I pointed out. At that point it was my word against his and he obviously had an attitude so I just shut my mouth and let it go. Next day got a different tester and nailed it no problem. It is unfortunate that they don’t have some oversight cuz some of these CDTs have attitudes that aren’t good.GEPPETTO425, dwells40 and truckdriver31 Thank this.
