I’m getting a bike during hometime there are a lot of planet fitness gyms around the country and usually not much further then a bike ride away. Also grocery stores.

YMCA. Many in smaller towns where you can park close to them. Use the shower afterwards. Also memberships are good anywhere.

Eat clean set a workout regimen and stick to it.I use my 30 minute break for working out on the road and I also have an Olympic bench press and 325 pounds of weights at home. Its addictive.

Today I'm in Phoenix , I parked at a truck stop and bob tailed to a boxing gym . I carry a jump rope , running shoes and a bag of boxing gear . I would have quit if I wasn't able to workout while on the road . I am a planet fitness member and I have the nation wide membership plan that includes the massage beds . When I'm home I workout 4 times a week , we have a Olympic bench and full size treadmill at the house . My health is more important than this career, Idont take it lightly. I have made this a habit and one of many hobbies that is healthy and hard to break . Eat right , stretch and get cardio at least 3 times a week , ppl say it's not possible but it most certainly is . Goodluck

Youll see more tail at a planet fitness than at a pilot, i promise you that. Pilots showers are cleaner and planet doesnt have roller dogs so dont throw away that yellow rewards card just yet.

Drop the fast food. Go to walmart every week. Get you bananas, a bag of apples, trailmix, granola bars, yogurt and cottage cheese if you have a fridge. Peanut butter and saltines, few gallons of water and some sugar free flavor packets so you feel like a kid with a koolaid mustache again. Prunes are handy for power dumping on schedule.

Before lifting i take a big can of chicken breast and pop in a packet of mustard, relish, chopped onion, sometimes ketchup and a splash of olive oil [ for healthy fats] then make 2 sandwiches. Delicious. Few handfuls of trail mix and a jug of water, then max out everything i can, take a shower n go to bed. You gotta eat right and quite a bit if you wanna build muscle or else youre just wasting time and cartilage.

Before I went I to trucking, I was a fitness junkie. Weight lifting was my favorite.

Overall, I have found brisk walking to be the best form of exercise.

I don't get much exercise when I drive a truck but somehow I have managed to stay fit, although not as fit as I used to be.

Most of the truck stops are in nice remote areas. So going for a nice run was always easy. Just toss on a hi vis vest and get going. Then the rest areas all have nice little picnic or playground areas that almost nobody ever uses so I turned a kettlebell a jumprope and a yoga mat was all I ever needed. The hard part is not making the excuse.
