That’s the situation and I have 1400 miles to go. The head of the nail is in the center of the tread and not leaking air at the moment. I don’t have time to stop and get this fixed until after I deliver tomorrow. What are the chances it won’t pose a problem for the next 1500 miles or so?

dude.....you could go to just about any truckstop and have them plug it in 30 minutes or less.
On the other hand, you could stop every 200-300 miles and put air in it

good chance it could start leaking down.

    or not.

I'd pull it and see if it went through. use widow cleaner to check for bubbles.

Spray water or glass cleaner if it's not leaking run it. Just check when ever you stop. Have it fixed after you deliver.

Did you soap check to see if it was leaking air, or just listen?

Could be a short nail that hasn't fully penetrated the tread, or a long spike that is just gonna cause a bigger hole through the constant pounding.

If the tire DOES have a slow leak, your chances of a blowout dramatically increase, and a blowout will DEFINITELY make you late.

I know what I'd do, but you do you.

    Good luck.

so find a truck stop on your route that can fix the tire during either your 10hr or your 30min break. It's called trip planning and calling ahead. Then you're gonna be stopped at that time anyways. you're risking it blowing and being in a ditch and not delivering your load at all. Why risk it?
