Is there a specific reason you guys use square tanks instead of round?

 

Larger fuel capacity for same frame rail length vs round.......


That thing probably carries 700 gallons maybe more......

Although the DAF is terrible inside the cabin you would probably earn much more money with it compared to the KW. Cheaper to buy and more fuel efficient.

 

Both have their use and strongpoints.
The KW and Daf are in completely different fields off operations.

Btw if you use that smal Daf for want it was intended,which is as a daycab,it is actually very nice.

 

Besides the fact when it needed parts or service you'd be SOL on this side of the pond.

 

Davie works on both sides off the pond.(MX engines)
Parts...........i don't know if they are interchangeble.
I think a smart mechanic could make it work.

But it not a issue as the only place where KW and Daf are sold by the same dealers is Australia.

I believe Australia is the only market that has both Daf and kenworth trucks ...?

 

I don't believe Kenworth is sold new in Brasil.
