    Most truck stop food sucks wether it’s a chain or independent and I’ve come across only one or two that have good food worth buying and eating.I can’t think of any right now. Anybody know of any places with good food.

    One person's "good" can be another person's "sucks", so to curb the hyperbole and to help facilitate something close to a productive discussion, what's your litmus test/criteria here of "good" vs "sucks"?

    That Ta on 80 in Illinois..can't think of the name of the town but outside Joliet has decent food. It's not a country pride.

    I know of several mom and pop stops that have pretty good diners in them... But for the most part they are all off the beaten path.

    My criteria of sucks is hotdogs on rollers/McDonald’s/subway/Wendy’s/Burger King/Arby’s/cold sandwiches sitting in a fridge for god knows how long
