I fix to cry when these topics come up.

Counting all the memories and closed truckstops with good food and paved under.

If you by chance stumble into a full restaurant with staffing and tables anytime it's a quiet period with a good cook, your vittles will be fine.

I remember a dinner order (Incident actually) in Tennessee one night in a storm. Asked for the steak dinner with trimmings, figured we are done until morning light for a while.

She says to me I'll try, but this wood stove this high up is a tricky one.

I could never find that place ever again. I don't remember too many good meals, but that was one.

. Look if you think R place is ok I think your bar is a little too high and you should probably stop eating truckstop food altogether.

Ehhhhh pardon me lol but those are all fantastic choices!!! We can't bash those places. They are all fantastic!!! I call that time saver food. Grab and go when that elog is ticking. Anyway, there are many fantastic places. Some are off the interstate and others are in hole in the wall cities....over the time you gain experience, you will come across those places. When I am in PA, I like Gios BBQ in Woodland or Rutters, or Tom's. The latter two sell tacos and all kinds of food but its cooked to order. There is a really good spot in Hazelton that sells tacos as well but I cant think of the name. It's down the street from the Auto Zone DC.

You can get good Gyros right outside Nashville. It's off 24, the same exit(exit 62 I think, Old Hickory Blvd) as the TA. It's the Citgo next to the TA. It's a little tight to get in there but manageable. Many of the locals and LTL guys eat there regularly.

The other great thing about R place is the full bar,it’s nice to have great food and an adult beverage also you new guys have not had the authentic truckstop diner experience until you have breakfast and Loud Mary is your waitress.

What's the name of the place near the Love's? Prince's Hot Chicken isn't far from there but you would have to bobtail
