Thanks for the good ideas, i’m thinking i’ll probably go to one of the Flying Js in St Louis so i can use uber eats.

No it wasn't bad. Went and scaled out empty came back and backed up to the last dock. Took the guy about 15 or 20 minutes to hose it out. He had one of those good sized what i call soaker hoses. Say about the size of the soap hose at the yard or little bigger.

I lost service for a bit. So you're probably already parked. Anyway if you don't have laundry to worry about and you're not bothered by having to pay for a shower then the loves on 370 is a decent place if you're there early enough to get a spot. Other than that the flying hook at pontoon beach is good cuz they have a Denny's. Pilot at east st.louis is ok but all they have is taco bell. We usually eat at Denny's on our restarts other than that we eat out of the truck. The wife makes rice an veggies with fajita meat or bacon an eggs an sometimes steak an potatoes.Lumper Humper Thanks this.

I never ran the 8 and 2 split. It never made much sense to me. I used to know how to split a log back when we ran paper logs. Course back then i ran a loose leaf log so i could throw one away an redraw it at a moments notice.

Also, I was recently told about the Hen House in Pontoon Beach. I've never eaten there but one of our drivers was high on it. It's that red building across the street from the hook. It's another option from Denny's and Burger KingLumper Humper Thanks this.

I love the 8 and 2 split. It accounts for a lot of unforeseen issues, especially when shippers or receivers take too long, bad traffic, etc. It helps when I have to cover a lot of miles quickly. I'm at the clinic doing a random this morning, fun timesLumper Humper Thanks this.
