Security guard shoots trucker during parking dispute @ okc TA.

I don't think anybody here really took a hard stance either way. Based on the evidence when this was first posted, a driver was shot once during a dispute. Based off that it looks like it could have been self defense on part of the guard. Now we see more of the story and a more accurate version of what happened.

 

Wait a second, I’m supposed to defend a trucker just because he’s a trucker despite not having all the info available? I’m class of 95 and I’ve must have slept during that lesson.
I’ll help out a trucker in need but I’m not going to stand up for unprofessional drivers. On the contrary, I would actually expect higher standard from truckers. The one group of people who have made my job more difficult throughout the years are the idiot drivers.

I remember that filthy place, that they built the Petro over it. The security guards and the staff were not the nicest and courteous to their customers. His story is very credible.

 

I agree. And on that note, no one should be killed for simply walking down the street. Michael Brown. Trayvon Martin.

 

All this means there're too many offcialized pusssies with guns. But when a literal push comes to shove, which they cannot handle, as in all the cases you mentioned, all they know what to do is to shoot. These types of men and women too should not be hired as armed security guards or police enforcement where confrontations are to be expected. In my classic view of the World Order, at least.
