Coronavirus and quarantine?

It sounds like u want someone to support ur opinion that this is a big deal but most truckers are realists and know there is much worse #### out there than a simple flu virus

 

I've actually been wondering what a nationwide lockdown would be. As of right now I don't even see hardly anyone. I go into a truck stop to see people otherwise I'm all on my own. I'm not sure if I'm considered essential because I'm hauling crude oil

 

OMG pay attention there are 63 confirmed deaths in the US that’s nothing!!!!!!!! The flu deaths are at like 30,000 do you see the difference quite large now my husband has to stay locked in our home with our children THESE DUMB F&@?ers shut Washington schools down WTF I’m at a loss with how ridiculous this all is!!!!!!

1000 deaths in a world filled with 7 billion people. Now do the math at how many die in car crashes and we will see which one is more dangerous

I would take the truck to it's home terminal, park it, clean out my stuff and go home. Home is where your resources to survive are, not in a company truck. Hell, you can't even legally have a weapon to defend yourself for when this goes to Mad Max level. Some would say this is an over reaction, I'm just giving you some thoughts to ponder. Do you want to be stuck in a truck somewhere far away with no resources?

 

I seriously doubt that 1,000 folks died in Italy in the last month from auto accidents, I doubt that auto accidents have overwhelmed the emergency rooms, I doubt that automobile accidents are killing a particularly high percentage of the elderly.

 

The sky is falling ... People need to get real. It's the flu XL at best. Fear sell and people are sheep so answer is short you get sick you go home don't cough and sneeze on people keep your bodily fluids to yourself and get better. The end.
