That or spray it right into the intake manifold. Might have a plug in it, or take hose off at ata cooler shoot it straight in

I'm no mechanic, but I do have some mechanical background. Those codes likely don't mean much if you had an electrical issue (ground wire rubbed through). That can throw some wacky info to the ECM and throw codes.
I'm still leaning towards a weak starter and a blockage either in the intake or exhaust.Gix1k and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Dump truck air cleaners are usually pretty dirty and dirt packed, so pull it out when using ether. Any sign of smoke? Low on compression usually white smoke when cranking.

I, like everyone else can’t stress enough, it will start with ether. Chances are it will run, once you get it going enough with ether. I’m sure you’re confused, having someone face to face say you need as Overhaul. Honestly, that’s reakly jumping the gun, bordering flat out bad advice.
lwlevens and Isafarmboy Thank this. -
Here’s a pic of my Detroit. See the black hose, connected to the silver intake manifold. Take it off and spray it straight in the manifold.

Anybody mention rack position sensor?

A lot has been asked...I'll address them

I have not done this. Only remove the air filter and spray directly in the hole.

The very first mechanic I had look at the truck when I bought it told me it has washed cylinders and low compression. It throws white smoke for about 10 secs on a cold start from the stack and then it stops. A few different mechanics not connected to the others have now said it.

It does smoke on a cold start. We pulled the big filter out when we spray the ether.
