Guard committed suicide

You're about 2 weeks late on that newsflash... We knew that the same day that he went to the gun range and did it - it wasn't a question or a secret.
PE_T Thanks this. -
BTW, I'd still like a follow up on this story. I know it'll get buried by current events but I'd like to know the driver got out of the hospital okay, that his employer covered the bills, and if there will be legal action against the truck stop for hiring such a loose cannon.
-
Me too... And I'd guess the answers are:
Buried by current news: Oh yeah definitely
Driver Recovered: Hopefully, that was the trend last I heard
Employer on the bills: If he knows what's good for him.....
Legal action? Just a guess, but is water wet? Is a Bear Catholic? Does the Pope #### in the woods?
PE_T and Snow Hater Thank this. -
Why would the drivers employer cover his medical bills?
-
Work related injury.
-
Getting shot is not a work related injury for a truck driver.
-
If I was not on the job,
I wouldn't be there.
Company truck.
Workmans compPE_T, kemosabi49 and magoo68 Thank this. -
If he wouldn't have parked where he wasn't supposed to he wouldn't have gotten shot either. How is it the employers responsibility that he wasn't doing his job? IE parking in a legal spot.
