The Truckers’ Report flatbed Hall of Shame.

My question is why did you allow them to load it that way? If you had spoken up you could of gotten the stacks loaded bumped up to each other instead od a big gap between them. The gaps is what makes tarping difficult.

 

Haha I took pictures this load took me 30 min to tarp it was an easy one but let me tell you I keep saying I’m going to buy a ladder and never do guys must get a kick watching me scramble up the ends to get the tarps on. Bungee cord I love it

 

It wasnt possible . What u dont see in the pic is the other half of the freight . Where the bottom pallets was longer than the ones sitting on top. Each layer was a different size . It didnt help they didnt have the right equipment for the job. They loaded the middle pallets by pushing them instead of using extensions on the forks or a telescopic boom. One of those cheap frickin places and i got into an argument with the forklift guy after i tell him the right way to load the #### but of course no speako english senor. The load was taking me home or i wouldve told them to take it off the deck. Well lets just say im not ever going back there

 

I definatly aint afraid to speak up with the forklift guys. Most the time it gets me in trouble. But i just really hate places that dont have the right equipment for the job and make our lives miserable. All i can do is chalk it up to experience and put them on the wont ever haul for again list

It is what it is , i try to do my best every load , some loads kick my ### every once in a while, this was one of them. That why im taking off til mid next week. Needed to get out of truck

Looks like a load of SS sheets from Reyerson is about to go to the scrap yard.

 

white volvo, straps over tarps. tarps ripped up. raining outside. freight is wet . tarps are to short to begin with . dot tape is gone from side of trailer. how do some of these guys get passed the scale house ?
