So you’re saying every truck park?
I’m guessing those helping single moms feed their kids and deliver essential goods are being manipulated
Somebody has to keep supply chains moving. For every hoarder at a Walmart, there is someone in need.

When the hoarding stops, all the damages are calculated, and we need 20% less truckers than we have now, I'm sure they will find a way to keep you on, or keep paying you, because you and your family will be in need, and that's American. The trucking companies won't be ####### and #####es, selfishly protecting themselves and keeping their money. They will do what's right and they will take care of you.Lennythedriver Thanks this.

I’m not bashing truckers in any way, I’m
One myself. We have to be honest with ourselves in stating that we are not exactly the role model perfect example of being the healthiest people on the planet. just by virtue of our careers, many of us have underlying health issues. Don’t give me this crap that you passed your last DOT physical exam. We all know that’s crap. Lol Some of the most unhealthy people in our population are truck drivers. All the factors that they list aside from being 80+, many of us truck drivers have those underlying health issues. Obesity, lack of sleep, poor diet, pre-diabetic or diabetic, pre-existing heart condition or actual heart conditions, probably half of Drivers out there smoke, and most of us don’t exercise at all.
My point? The average truck driver should be doing everything in his power to avoid catching this virus because the outcome for many of you would not be good. That’s just reality!chimbotano, Dino soar, Just passing by and 1 other person Thank this. -

I hear you. I get that. I don't want to stay home. I don't know what the answers are, but I am not seeing people addressing the issue of how to keep truckers from getting infected. I think it's going to be bad. I think a lot of truckers are going to get sick at the same time. There should be more thought put into it, and more thought put into what we do when a trucker on the road does get sick. At this point, I think most people in the trucking companies still think the situation is being exaggerated. In a few weeks, I don't think they are going to think that anymore when they have trucks stranded across the country.

I would have to stand at the judgement and be told that indirectly I am responsible for taking people out. I would cry. However we do our best and thats all we can do.
Hurricane Reefed Sails with double chain on the slings and green water over the f'csle with 4 men on the wheel chained to the deck through the night at 2 knots and 10 down leeward course. (Wind pressure combined with current forces ship to displace in addition to it's forward motion on the earth.
There are many things to be done in order. So that a crew can have a windjammer or clipper ship prepared for the all out storm. When the green water is replaced by greybeards in the waist you pray that the deck and hold is snug. Everyone depends on that, particularly for cargoes like rice and s on. If it gets wet, swell up, bust the ship into toothpicks and throw the suviving rew into the sea where they need about a day and change to die from exposure. -
It could get real crazy. I don’t know.
I’m only doing it because it’s about as little human contact as possible with this gig I’m helping with. Zero interactions with store. Drop/hook/go.
As far as truck stops, I do my best to be safe. They’re not perfect, but it seems they are trying -
I didn't "consider" anything. I wanted to find out what Brant had to say. That's why I asked him and not someone like you that has to work a narcissistic comment into every conversation.

It blows air pressure into you air way so you can keep air way open. It not technically a ventilator or designed for that. You can add oxygen. They have more advanced CPAP that can breath for people. Still not really a ventilator
