Me personally with all this stuff going on I'm not going in to truck stops unless I absolutely have to and then I'm not buying anything that isn't prepackaged and I'm wearing a mask. I bring my own coffee when I can and if I can't I just don't drink it. With a new born at home this #### is too much to chance. I don't even go inside for fuel receipts
tarmadilo Thanks this. -
I just use the wrapped straws from the fountain drinks.austinmike, jsnell and sevenmph Thank this.

That requirement varies by location. Some entire states, or municipalities within some state require straws, utensils, stir sticks to be individually wrapped if they are to be accessed by the general public.
A good example is Wendy's, who always has utensils/straws for their salads, chili, Frosties etc. Some locations they just dump them in out of the box of 1000 naked, a few falling on the floor to be picked up and put in the bin, some locations everything is wrapped. Local health laws dictate the requirement, although any location could spend the extra money for individually wrapped.
Adding to the problem of course is the movement from guess where, where any one time disposable anything is killing the earth and winding up in the ocean. The land of unintended consequences. I learned all I needed to know about how viruses and illness is transmitted in my 9th grade health class in 1967. Including how to avoid the clap. -
Not really a health issue but have any of you noticed that some loves have taken down the "twofer" deals they used to have on sodas and some sandwiches ? Loves,we jus loves that trucker money

Fond du Lac county is the Wisconsin hotspot, and the precautions there were much different than the location in Altkinson, IL, where you filled your own new cup early Friday evening.
Distancing is practiced all over.
