Yea I found out about the coddling teams from a guy in safety. He told me that back in 2005 when he drove for them they were a team only company they had no solo drivers. So since then they've added solo drivers into the mix to do exactly what you said they help to accommodate the teams sitting at a dock for hours so when the team meets them to get the load it's all ready to go for them. But now they've added too many solo drivers and complain that they are short way too many teams. They say they teams are the drivers that make the company most of their money.

Most of the things they tell their drivers are lies !! I could mention names of DMs that do certain things and say so many false things but then I would get I trouble on here for doing so. So many other places out there to make a much better living.

But now that they got this sweetheart deal with the 2 largest trucking schools in Tennessee and Texas even established teams are not safe here. They are having these new student drivers team up with a classmate as soon as their training is over. This way they still get the teams which they need and want but pay them way less cpm.
The smart drivers have caught onto what their doing and leaving the others are just scratching their heads with their mouths wide open just wondering.

The truck numbers are going higher than ever now I've seen 2099 and S098 recently. Just tells you how many new drivers their adding and not enough freight to support all these new people and the older drivers. They tell me their up to 500 trucks now because they order way more new ones than ever before and still see 2016 models so they are also hanging onto the older ones longer. Drivers complain that their sitting around too much these days.

I seen 2105 last week in Texas east bound on I40. What you said sort of reinforces them pushing the older drivers out too. I have fun passing them out there when I see them !!!

I imagine you'd make more with that gaurantee pay package than you would at 39cpm
