FYI, I’ve stopped at a cpl places this week already. No bathrooms. Nairn truck stop is one of them. What do you think guys are gonna do? A certain breed will crap through a hole in the floor of their trucks. If you think they’re not gonna crap in the parking lot, you’re very very wrong. How bout this, you run how you like, I’ll run how I like. Cuz I ain’t suckin nothing. Especially for you.

@runningman0661 from South Carolina. Do you even know where nairn center, Ontario is? Or hwy 17? I smell the distinct stench of a troll.
magoo68 Thanks this. -
I personally like what is going on in parts of the good ol USA. Just did an extended tour of coloured rocks and cactus in a six state area. Once again as in the past, I saw groups of law breaking citizens under supervision, doing a nice job of cleaning road sides. Not sure that I can recall that here. Maybe some of you can. We are too busy burning dollars on so called rehabilitation. Off topic I know.aaronpeterbilt3787 Thanks this.

There are definitely aspects of this virus bs that is beneficial. I’ve personally never been unloaded or reloaded so quickly in my life. Bills in the back of the trailer. Get the green dock light, you’re outta there! Lol

Drivers,go home.
When people have no food eventually you'll get the call to come back at higher wages.
Why are you out there working in those conditions for flat rate/mileage pay. -
I couldn’t agree more. Only problem with that is nobody would stick together.

Well what a difference a week makes. If anyone thought it was bad before, it’s only getting worse. So far this week I’ve been refused bathrooms. Refused to order take out at an a&w (I was hauling a load of a&w pickles, ironic) and was actually told at a gas station, oh you’re a trucker? You can use the bathrooms, truckers don’t go to the states. (True story, couldn’t make that up if I tried). Left Toronto at 9pm. No food available anywhere from Toronto to Sault Ste Marie at that time of night. Once you leave Barrie onRoute there are no bathrooms until the husky in Sault Ste. Marie. (Unless you’ve boughten fuel at a Petro-Pass in past 24 hrs, then you can card in at Petro-Pass in Sudbury). For those who don’t come north of the border, Barrie, ON to Sault Ste. Marie, ON is a 6 1/2 hour ride. But yes, let’s keep hauling consumers their goods so they’re comfy at home while off work.
The only way the majority of the public would understand, is if ALL trucks shut down. Within 72 hours, shelves be empty. Gas stations with no gas. No medical supplies. Maybe, just maybe, then joe blow stock broker or mr I’m so important doctor might get it. Probably not though.Down the road and uncleal13 Thank this. -
Although it is unfortunate that there is a distinct lack of facilities in this country, it has pretty much always been that way; southern Ontario to Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, northern Alberta, northern BC, the mountain parks, etc.
I'm not sure about where your anger is directed though. These aren't the people that are making the rules. They're not the ones that own the facilities, or decide where, or to what extent to build. For the most part they're clueless as to your plight and many would likely be appalled if they understood the truth. So why alienate them? Why not figure out a way to add their voice to yours?peterd, Phantom Trucker, dunchues and 2 others Thank this.
